Traveling a lot means being in the car a lot. And sometimes being on the road means that you are in places where you might not see other people. So coming out and finding that your battery is dead, can definitely be troublesome. Sometimes, there is nothing you can do about a dead battery. If you leave a light on in a car, it will drain the battery. But if the battery seems that the battery is having a hard time holding a charge, it could mean it is time to get a new battery.

Signs that you might need a new battery.

Slow Engine Start: If the engine hesitates to turn over when you turn the key, the battery might be struggling to get enough power to turn the engine. This is one of the first signs that you will need a new battery soon.

Check engine or battery light: Many cars have sensors in them to tell you about a problem before it becomes severe. Your car may have a check battery light or it might just trigger the check engine light.
