1. Car Colors:
Pick a time frame depending on the length of the car ride. It could be 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, etc. Each person guesses how many cars of a certain color will be spotted during that time. The first one to 5 points wins.
2. Odd or Even:
Each player takes a guess on how many license plates will end with an even number and how many will end with an odd number. Keep a tally and the one closest to the initial guess wins. This can be done for a certain amount of time or for the whole car ride.
3. I-Spy:
There is only one way that playing I-Spy in the car will work. It has to be something that won’t go out of view – like the sky, the road, etc. Someone announces that they “spy” something and gives a clue. Example: I spy something blue. The players have to take turns guessing until someone figures out what the item is. Whoever guesses correctly starts the next spy-turn.
4. Find it First:
Choose an item like farms, people walking, motorcycles, or Volkswagen bugs, whatever you like. Then choose a number like 5 or 20 that you want to find. This will depend on the length of your drive. Then, see who can find the designated number of the chosen item first.
5. Hum-Along:
One person will hum a song. The others will try to guess. The person who guesses the right song goes next. The first one to guess three songs correctly wins.
6. Storytelling:
One passenger starts the story with a single sentence. The next person adds a sentence. This goes on until you build a complete story.
