If you’re like many people, you may get busy during the summer. You could spend more hours in your car than any other time of the year. You may be taking the kids here and there, heading to the beach, going on a road trip or family vacation, or just spending more time. Bob Fisher Chev knows the importance of a clean car.
Here are some tips for keeping your car clean this summer:
- Put a trash bag in your car. It can be a small trash can liner, or even just a plastic grocery bag, but keeping a bag designated for trash in your car is a smart idea.
- Dust off your feet. If you’ve been to the beach, walking in the sand, or someplace else that has gotten your shoes really dirty, take time to dust them off first before tracking all that ick into the car. This is a big one for parents who have kids who play outside, do sports, or otherwise get their shoes extra dirty.
- Give it regular cleanings. You should also clean your car regularly inside and out. This could mean a good hand wash at home, or a run through a drive through car wash. All that matters is that you spray off the gunk that gets on regularly, and vacuum up dirt so it doesn’t get ground in.
- Get organized. Another great way to keep your car clean even in the summer months when you’re traveling in it a lot is to get rid of the clutter and keep it organized. A cluttered car will get dirty faster but if everything is in its place, you can keep it clean as it should be.
With these tips, you’ll be ready to hit the road whenever you please and not trash your car in the process. Have fun!
