Benefits of an AWD Vehicle
When you are shopping for your next vehicle there are so many decisions to make. Which model? What are top priorities? Should you buy any add-ons? What color? One important factor to consider is if you want a vehicle that has all-wheel drive. Years ago here were only two options. A 4×4 truck or truck-base SUV or a two-wheel drive car. Many buyers would have loved to have the extra control that is brought by all four wheels having power, but not everyone wants a big truck or large SUV…so they ended up with a two-wheel drive car, and did their best in poor weather.
AWD cars of today are the answer. They are the perfect in-between of a large truck or SUV, and a car. All wheel drive gives you added stability when driving in poor conditions as well as dry weather. It adds extra security and safety benefits to a car. Even luxury car models are starting to offer an AWD option.
